MY SO CALLED LIFE

I never dreamed of a day where my Saturdays would be spent at bike shows. Throwing back beers with bearded guys three times my age, who wear John Deere overalls under their Harley-Davidson leather vests. Yep. I saw it.

My life has recently become a mash-up of iron & ink, beards & bikes, american pride* & a southern state of mind. I'd be lying if I said these men(& women) weren't helping me heal in some weird way. They seem to have it all figured out though. It's all about how you feel when you're cruising down the highway with two wheels under you.

& isn't that just it? How you feel. It's all about how you feel.

*I still remain a proud liberal democrat & a true feminist.

    Awesome :) I definitely think you can be proud of America and still be a liberal AND a feminist! Because it's America, and you can do that sort of thing! I just want to say that you are lovely, btw, and I love seeing other bespectacled ladies who love tattoos, liberalism and feminism :) <3

    Oh wow, I'm not really fond of most bikes, but these really do look good. Still, the idea of actually riding on them scares me a lot ;) But it sounds like Harley Davidson is a great company to be working for.

    And I like your positive outlook on life (the 30 day detox)!
